The division of diagnostics was established in 1996 and its activities are directed especially to the diagnostics of the rail superstructure condition. Since its foundation the division has fulfilled two main aims: detecting and documenting quality of work provided by the company and completing of the assortment of our services in the field of rail constructions.
Diagnostic operations performed by the division:
1. Measuring of the parameters of the rail geometric position by the measuring cart KRAB
The result of this measurement is the information about the railway, i.e. complex diagnostics of the parameters of the rail geometric position (RGP). The information shows us the condition of the rail (station, siding) superstructure. It gives us the basic answer whether the rail is safe, coming up to the rules and standards of the rail transport operation. Finally, it helps to decide whether just the common maintenance is enough to assure the safe and continuous operation or whether larger repair or reconstruction is needed.
At present the measuring cart KRAB is the most perfect device for the continuous RGP parameters scanning in unloaded condition. The results of the measurement serves us the rail condition documentation during the planning of the repairing works, as documentation of the provided work quality during starting up the operation after repairs, during the acceptance certification process, etc. The enormous advantage of this measuring device is its compatibility with the measuring and evaluating program of the measuring cart used by the Czech Railways.
Our company Chládek a Tintěra, Pardubice a.s. is the holder of “Certificate of Capacity to Perform the RGP Parameters Measuring on the Czech Railways Tracks”.
Since its foundation (till 31.10.2005) the division has carried out measurement in the total length of 3980 km.
2. Production and sale of the electronic measurement device of the unevenness of rails and welds
This is a diagnostic aid used for measuring of the course of the weld on the rail length of 1 m. The measurement device serves for the qualitative acceptance test of the rail constructions as well as for the comfortable processing and evaluating of the measurement results (where providing of the instantaneous values and results of the individual measurement is possible). Owing to its construction solution the measurement device can be used for measurement of the glued insulated joints.
The company Chládek a Tintěra, Pardubice a.s. is the producer and supplier of this measurement device. We also provide calibration of these devices, guarantee and after-guarantee service including larger repairs.
This measurement is certificated for using within the Czech Railways net – as the only of its type. The device is being sold abroad as well (Slovakia, France, Thailand, etc.)
3. Providing metrology in the company
Another important task of the division is the metrology management of the company complying with the requirements of CSN EN ISO 9001:2001 and CSN EN ISO 14 001:1997. The company has recently obtained Certificate of occupational health and safety according to OHSAS 18001 as well.
The main aim of the division is the uprising of the diagnostic services quality, their further extension and providing the independent control to our customers.
