Rail welding is the activity which the company Chládek a Tintěra has offered from its foundation in 1994. We have passed through many successful years in this sphere, and nowadays we occupy the front position in this field.
The production program first included only thermit welding of rails. In the following years, our offer was completed with straightening of welds and the mounted glued insulated joints installation.
As we wanted to offer the most complex services to our customers, it was extended with electric arc welding – electrode welding, the Innershield welding and build up of rails and frogs.
Nowadays, the rail welding still remains the main segment of our division. Due to the corridor constructions, our attention concentrates on complex services in the field of long-welded rails.
At this time, the division has 10 crews for thermit welding, three crews for electric arc welding and three crews for rail and frog build up. With this capacity, which is the highest in the Czech Republic, our division produces 10 000 welds a year and we have welded up more than 94 000 welds since the foundation.
The welders of the company Chládek a Tintěra can be spotted during the maintenance work for ČD SDC Pardubice and SDC Hradec Králové, during rail constructions run by our company, investment constructions provided for external customers and mainly during construction of rail corridors in Bohemia and Moravia.
We offer the following services on corridors:
- proposal for setting up long-welded rails
- rail and switch welding, supply or welding of glued insulated joints or assembly of mounted glued insulated joints
- management of setting up long-welded rails
- measurement of weld geometry, radiographic radiation method of welds, clamping temperature measurement
- working out complex documentation
The quality of the management system and the technical documentation of the performed construction are the priorities of our division.
